[01] ACCEPTANCE OF PROTOCOLS

This document constitutes a binding legal agreement. Accessing any module, terminal, or curriculum within DEFENSE_GRID signifies your irrevocable acceptance of these terms.

Your continued presence on this network constitutes digital consent.

[02] ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to operate on DEFENSE_GRID. You agree to provide accurate registration details, keep them current, and hold a single operator account for your own use only. Accounts are provisioned and authenticated through our identity provider; you are responsible for all activity conducted under your credentials.

[03] OPERATIONAL CLEARANCE

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Any unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials is the sole responsibility of the operator.

  • >> Enable multi-factor authentication where offered to protect your clearance.
  • >> Sharing access tokens with non-enrolled entities is a violation.

[04] SUBSCRIPTIONS, FEES & BILLING

Access is provided through paid subscription tiers (Basic, Plus, Flex, and Premium); there is no free tier — Basic is a paid clearance. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) on the subscription page and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by our provider, Stripe, and we do not store your full card details. We may change pricing or tier features from time to time, but this will never alter the price of a billing period you have already paid for, and we will give reasonable notice before a change takes effect.

05
autorenew

[05] AUTO-RENEWAL & CANCELLATION

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on your subscription page. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not shorten or refund the period already in progress, and your clearance stays active until that period ends, subject to the retention window below.

06
history

[06] ACCESS AFTER CANCELLATION

When a subscription lapses or is cancelled, clearance is not withdrawn immediately. Access continues until the end of your paid period plus a tier-based retention window, after which access to gated Segments is revoked. Your progress records are retained in line with our Privacy & Intel Protocols.

[07] REFUNDS & YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. Because DEFENSE_GRID supplies digital content and services immediately, by activating a subscription or accessing gated content within that period you request immediate performance and accept that your 14-day right to cancel is lost once access has begun. Beyond your statutory rights, payments are generally non-refundable, although we may grant discretionary refunds. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law.

[08] TUTORING & LIVE SESSIONS

Some tiers and packs let you book one-to-one or group sessions with tutors. Tutors are independent contractors, not our employees; they are responsible for the content and conduct of their sessions, and we are not liable for the advice they give. Sessions are scheduled through the platform and may use third-party video such as Google Meet, with calendar invitations shared among participants who connect a calendar. You agree to attend on time and to follow the cancellation and rescheduling rules shown at booking; missed sessions or late cancellations may forfeit the credit used.

[09] RECORDING, TRANSCRIPTION & AI

One-to-one and group sessions are recorded and transcribed as a standard part of the service, and their audio, video, shared screens, and chat may be captured. You will see a clear indicator while a session is being recorded. Recording and transcription cannot be turned off for an individual session, so if you do not want to be recorded, do not book or join a live session. We use the recording and transcript to deliver the session, let you review it afterwards, and support quality, safety, and dispute resolution, and — through AI session insights, which are on by default and can be turned off in your profile — to give you personalised notes, feedback, and progress analysis. This processing runs on our own systems and through vetted providers such as Anthropic's Claude, as described in our Privacy & Intel Protocols.

By booking and joining a live session, you consent to it being recorded and transcribed. AI session insights are on by default; you can turn them off at any time in your profile.

  • >> AI session insights are on by default and can be turned off at any time in your profile settings. Turning them off stops the personalised analysis and any use of your recordings to improve our models; recording and transcription of live sessions continue regardless, and your access is never affected.
  • >> We never sell your recordings or transcripts, and we never share them with a third party to train its own or public AI models; where Anthropic's Claude helps process a session, your content is used only to serve you and not to train Anthropic's models.
  • >> While AI session insights are on (the default), you agree that we may use your recordings and transcripts to improve our own teaching and the AI models we run on our own infrastructure; turn insights off at any time to stop this.
  • >> In group sessions every participant is notified before recording begins; you must not separately record a session or other participants without their consent, and any personal recording is for your private study only.
  • >> We may use footage, audio, or transcripts that identify you in marketing, testimonials, or edited or published content only with your separate, explicit, opt-in consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • >> Recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted; you can ask to access or delete recordings of your sessions at any time.

notifications

[10] COMMUNICATIONS & NOTIFICATIONS

We contact you about your account by email and in the app, in two ways you control — general notifications and time-sensitive alerts — alongside essential service messages we always need to send. You manage these in the Consent & Data panel of your profile, and every change is logged. They are separate from any marketing use of your session clips, which stays off unless you opt in, as described in the recording, transcription & AI section.

Notifications and alerts are on by default, and you can turn either off at any time in your profile. Essential service messages cannot be switched off, because we need them to run your account.

  • >> Notifications are general updates about your training, bookings, and new sessions. They are on by default and you can turn them off at any time in your profile; doing so never affects your access.
  • >> Alerts are time-sensitive messages — a session starting soon, a payment problem, or an important security notice. They are on by default and can be turned off in your profile, but we recommend keeping them on so you do not miss something that needs your attention.
  • >> Whatever your preferences, we may still send essential service messages needed to operate your account — such as booking confirmations, receipts, password or security changes, and legal or safety notices — because we cannot provide the service without them.

[11] SESSION CREDITS

Session bookings are backed by credits. One-to-one credits and group-session credits are separate and cannot be exchanged for one another. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are consumed when you book. If you cancel within the permitted window the credit returns to your balance; late cancellations and no-shows may not be refunded. Unused credits may expire as stated at purchase and are not refundable except where required by law or these terms.

[12] RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

DEFENSE_GRID content is provided strictly for lawful, educational, and authorised-testing purposes. Any technique or tool taught here may only be used against systems you own or are explicitly authorised to test. You must not use the platform to attack third parties, and you must not probe, disrupt, or test the security of the platform itself or attempt to reach infrastructure beyond your own account.

  • >> Sharing, reselling, or redistributing course material or account access.
  • >> Soliciting tutors or other operators to move payments off-platform.
[PROHIBITED]

Automated fuzzing or scraping of the platform or its API.

[PROHIBITED]

DDoS, stress-testing, or circumventing access controls.

13

[13] IP RIGHTS

All curriculum, vectors, and toolkits are proprietary to Origin Ten Ltd. While your clearance is active you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access this material for your own training. No copying, redistribution, resale, or commercial reuse of course material is permitted.

[14] SERVICE AVAILABILITY & CHANGES

We work to keep DEFENSE_GRID available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, suspend, or retire features, Segments, or tiers, and may carry out maintenance that temporarily limits access. Where a change would materially reduce a paid benefit you are actively using, we will act reasonably and consistently with your consumer rights.

[15] EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER

DEFENSE_GRID provides training content and does not guarantee any particular outcome — including employment, certification, exam success, or acquisition of a specific skill. The material is not professional or legal advice. You are responsible for how you apply what you learn and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

[16] THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

DEFENSE_GRID depends on third-party services to operate — including our identity provider for sign-in, Stripe for payments, AWS for hosting and media, and Google (Calendar, and YouTube for published lesson videos) for optional features. Optional Google Calendar connections are read-only and revocable: the system reads only your busy/free times — never event titles or contents — to remove unavailable times from your bookable slots, and disconnecting a calendar immediately stops access and deletes the data stored from it. Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms, and any personal data is handled as described in our Privacy & Intel Protocols.

[17] LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORIGIN TEN LTD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under law — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — and none of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

18

[18] TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate clearance where an operator materially breaches these terms — including the Rules of Engagement — or where necessary to protect operators or the platform. You may close your account at any time from your profile; closing your account does not by itself refund a paid period. Provisions that by their nature survive termination, such as intellectual property and limitation of liability, continue to apply.

19
update

[19] CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version and date below and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use DEFENSE_GRID after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms; if you do not agree, you should stop using the platform and may cancel.

[20] GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
